At a glance
Reinforcing steel has to be on site before the concrete can be poured. If the yard cannot cut and bend, the steel does not leave, and the pour waits.
That is why we took our Mossel Bay yard off the grid.
In 2017 we moved to our current yard at 9 Barrier Street, Mossdustria, and the same year the yard went off grid on solar power. Today it runs completely off grid, so power cuts never stop production.
Because the power stays on, the yard keeps running 24 hours a day, five days a week. Your bending schedule keeps moving through the yard, whatever the grid is doing.
Delivery is usually within one to two working days, depending on the workload at each yard, vehicle availability and the weather.
