SkySteel first opened in George in 2022. In 2025 it became part of SC Reinforcing, bringing our service closer to builders in George and across the Garden Route.
You get the same SANS 282 steel and the same team behind it, with stock and service right on your doorstep.
What the George branch does
Cutting and bending is done in George as well as in Mossel Bay. Send your bending schedule to the George team and your steel is cut and bent to it, labelled and bundled, ready for site.
The branch stocks all our products: rebar from Y8 to Y32, welded mesh, spacers and chairs, and binding wire.
Delivery from George
Four vehicles are based in George: Iveco 8 ton, Volvo 14 ton and FAW 5 ton crane trucks, and a Mahindra 1 ton bakkie for lightweight deliveries. Our TATA 8 ton crane truck roves between George and Mossel Bay.
Together with our Mossel Bay branch, we deliver to building sites across the Garden Route and Southern Cape, usually within one to two working days. See all the areas we serve.
